If you like to be sneaky, the Verdant Adder is a great choice. This guide covers how to reach its hidden location and what benefits it offers your character.

Weapon Features

This dagger was added during the update on March 3rd, 2026. If you use the Verdant Adder, your sneak damage goes up by 20%.

Additionally, hits with this weapon add 50% of your sneak damage as extra bonus damage. While the item model was missing when it first launched, it is now fully visible in your hand.

Locating the Smuggler's Hideout

To find the dagger, look for a cave called Smuggler's Hideout. It is located north of the Forlorn Swords Main Gate in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

Once you go inside, be ready to deal with some Corpse Eaters that live there. You can read the notes scattered around if you want to learn the story of the cave, but the main path is straight ahead from the entrance.

Reaching the Hidden Chest

Keep walking until you reach a large open space. From there, find the steps that lead into a tight, narrow path. You will see a lot of trash on the ground.

Look to your right to find a wall that looks different. You need to use a Pickaxe to break through this wall. After the way is clear, go up the stairs. You will find a chest at the top, and the Verdant Adder is inside.
