The Outer Worlds 2 Guide | Inez Grabble or Raptidon Graft
Here’s how decide between Grabble or Raptidon Graft for Inez.
Game Guide by Joyramen on Oct 29, 2025
You’ll be given a choice in The Outer Worlds 2, where you will have to decide how Inez's combat ability behaves by choosing between the two grafts for her arm.
However, the result of their choice won’t be as dramatic until she reaches level 15, where her skill will evolve into either Lethal Graft Research or Medical Graft Research.

Where she will specialize further depends on the graft that she got, affecting either her healing or offensive abilities.
Crabble Graft
This graft primarily focuses on direct offense and control.
Crabble Lethal Graft Research: Once she activates her abilities, she leaves behind a pool of plasma that deals damage and stays on the ground. Whenever an enemy decides to step forward into the plasma, they take damage.
Crabble Medical Graft Research: Whenever she uses her main ability, she releases a mist that heals nearby allies.
Raptidon Graft
This graft primarily focuses on the supportive aspect and flexible approach, giving you both healing and combat buffs.
Raptidon Lethal Graft Research: The healing mist will have an offensive effect that will boost the accuracy and damage of allies, helping both offensively and defensively.
Raptidon Medical Graft Research: Upgrade your healing capabilities further, and healing mist has a longer effect on allies even after they move away from the mist's vicinity.
When it comes to which we have to choose, it depends on personal preference.
Neither one of them is significantly better than the other. Crabble emphasizes the aggressive aspect, whereas Raptidon prioritizes support.
Try sticking to whatever you think will complement your team's composition the best.
