Sony Identified The Last of Us Part II Leaker, Confirms the Person is not Affiliated with Sony or Naughty Dog

Recently, a massive leak of story sensitive content for The Last of Us Part II was making its way throughout the internet. Sony has been quick to squish any leaks but they're still out there so be aware. Many, including myself, assumed it was a Naughty Dog employee given the nature of the leaked footage but apparently it wasn't.

Sony confirmed with GamesIndustry.biz that the leaker has been identified and the person is not affiliated with Sony or Naughty Dog.

The assumption that this was someone at Naughty Dog was after Kotaku published an article about crunch within the company. With many believing that the leak was caused by an employee because of the working conditions at Naughty Dog.

The Last of Us: Part II will launch this June 19th on PS4.
