15 Million Copies of Among Us Claimed Through Epic Games Store Promotion

Epic Games free promotions have been incredibly popular among gamers. Providing free games to keep and one of the latest was Among Us, one of the most popular multiplayer games available. With over 15 million copies claimed through EGS.

These copies were claimed between May 27th and June 3rd. This means that 15 million EGS accounts were made and to launch the game those same players need to log in through the launcher. This likely will pay off for Epic Games since their launcher has been receiving negative reception due to lackluster features that are readily available on Steam and unpopular exclusivity deals. However, Epic Games offers better rates for developers and publishers compared to Steam.
