Latest Overwatch Developer Diary Confirms New Hero In Internal Testing

In celebration of the new year, Blizzard wanted Overwatch fans to know that new heroes and levels are being tested.

The video update is mostly an update of everything that has released but game director Jeff Kaplan has revealed that a "much needed" Hero is in development. He couldn't say what role this hero will play but is in internal testing. Kaplan also discussed that more heroes are in development beyond the current 27th Hero.

Kaplan also confirmed this year the Lunar Year, Anniversary event, and Uprising will return for 2018. For those looking forward to the new 2018 loot boxes will be happy to hear that they will be coming this month.

Overwatch is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
