The Last of Us Part 2 Trailer is Full of Details

The Last of Us: Part II was at Sony's E3 press conference and it wasn't a small introduction. The trailer provided was 12 minutes long and provided a lot of details. Here's what we saw.

The trailer opens up to a now older Ellie at a dance with people focusing more on being human than surviving before cutting away, literally, to a graveyard full of hanging bodies and Ellie stabbing someone without mercy.

Things we noticed:

Ellie has developed romantic feelings for Dina, a new character

Jesse refers to Joel as "old man" but still active

The cutaway could mean the game will jump between time periods.

The foes are most likely cultist with a much more advanced AI that will actively search for Ellie based on hiding spots available. The final moment of the cultist Ellie kills is speaking a mantra of some kind

Ellie uses an enemy as a bullet shield

Explosive arrows were shown

The Last of Us: Part II   is in development for PS4.
