Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle Getting 9 New Fighters

Today marks the final day for EVO 2018, the biggest fighting game tournament in the world. It also marks the opportune time for fighting game developers to release new information about their in development or released game, such as Arc System Work's BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. The developer confirmed that the game is getting 9 new characters.

The newly release trailer shows that Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 4 Arena, Izayoi from BlazBlue, and Merkava from Under Night In-Birth in Character Pack 4. Then there’s Yuzhuhira from UNIB, Mai Natsume from BlazBlue, and Akihiko Sanda from P4A in Character Pack 5. In addition to Nine The Phantom from BlazBlue, Mika from UNIB, and Labyrs from P4A in Character Pack 6.

Each pack will cost $5 which is low considering that other games range from $10-$20 per fighter pack. The packs will release on August 6th in NA.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is now available for PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
