Assassin's Creed 2 DLC arrives this month
News by David on Jan 24, 2010
Last year, Ubisoft announced two new DLC content for Assassin's Creed II in early 2010, and it looks like players will be getting them earlier than expected. The first ACII add-on, titled the "Battle of Forli" will be available on PSN and XBLA on January 28--which is next week. A recent tweet from Ubisoft can confirm this:
"#AC2 DLC 1 is a worldwide release, out on PS Store and XBL Marketplace on Jan 28 everywhere it can be," the tweet says.
The second DLC, called "Bonfire of the Vanities" will most likely follow up in the month of February, although that is subject to change.
These two DLC expansions for Assassin's Creed II are actual historic events that happened during the Italian Renaissance period. The Battle of Forli occurred at the same place, and roughly 200 years before Ezio's time. On the other hand, Bonfire of the Vanities actually happened in 1497, which puts it in the middle of Assassin's Creed 2's storyline. It is also most likely Bonfire will fill in the missing pieces, in which the game skipped over during playthrough.
