Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies May Be Bringing Back 'Grief' Mode from Black Ops 2

Call of Duty leaker ModernWarzone has tweeted that the popular Black Ops 2 Zombies game mode Grief, may be returning for season 2 of Black Ops Cold War.

In Black Ops 2, the game mode pitted two teams against each other. They would each try to outlast the other team in a fight against waves of Zombies.

ModernWarzone's tweet is noticeably dearth of information regarding the legitimacy of the claim, reading as follows:

"Grief could be returning in Season 2 of #BlackOpsColdWar. For those unaware, grief is a Zombies game mode where you can quite literally grief your opponents in zombies. First introduced with Tranzit in BO2!"

The claim should, of course, be taken with a grain of salt; perhaps ModernWarzone will divulge further information soon.

Several other supposed leaks have already come out over the last couple of weeks detailing new maps and weapons for season 2.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War can be played on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, and PC.
