CD Projekt RED Reveals Information Regarding the next Witcher 3 expansion and GOTY version

The next Witcher 3 expansion will release before E3 according to CD Projekt RED.

Speaking to German site GameStar the developers explained that although a release date wasn’t confirmed we can expect Blood & Wine to release before E3 2016. In terms of size the DLC will as big as the Skellige Islands combined. For those who don’t know Skellige was one of the main open world maps within The Witcher 3.

The expansion will also add a new Gwent deck.

In addition to The Witcher 3 news CD Projekt RED confirmed three other important points:

- They don’t plan to remaster the original Witcher or The Wither 2: Assassins of Kings

- A retail version including all three games is not happening

- A GOTY version of The Witcher 3 that includes all the expansions and patches is possible

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The first DLC, Hearts of Stone, is also available for download.
