Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary Now Free On Epic Game Store

Before the launch of Borderlands 3, Gearbox released a new surprise expansion for Borderlands 2 called Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary. The expansion was to bridge the events of the 2 games and was available for free for a limited time. Now the expansion is free again for Epic Games Store owners.

The expansion is available to everyone with a copy of Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection until October 2nd. Then it'll return to being a paid DLC.

Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary takes place after the events of the core game. Lilith and the Crimson Raiders must fight a new threat, a Dahl invasion. The enemy is using a chemical weapon to infect the people and environment, turning them into plant hybrids.
