The creator of the over-the-top video game graphic novel, Bryan Lee O'Malley, stated on Twitter that his number 1 goal in life "is to get the Scott Pilgrim video game rereleased".

The 2010 video game was developed by Ubisoft for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PSP.

Following the story of the graphic novels, up to four players can play as Scott PilgrimRamona FlowersKim Pine or Stephen Stills, each with their own move set, must battle through seven levels in order to defeat Ramona's seven evil exes. Secret characters, unlockable items, and hidden secrets.

The game received many acclaimed reviews due to its unique characters and entertaining gameplay. However many criticized the game's difficulty and the lack of online drop-in and drop-out cooperative options.

If the game does get a re-release online cooperative options would be a number 1 priority.

A Scott Pilgrim movie was released back in 2010 and received similar popular acclaim.
