de Blob 2 Coming To Xbox One And PS4 Next Month

Back in November THQ Nordic re-released de Blob for modern consoles for audiences to enjoy. While the gameplay hasn't aged well the game was a serviceable update to a classic platformer and now THQ Nordic is bringing its sequel to Xbox One and PS4.

de Blob 2 was available re-released on PC last year but now is coming to modern consoles. Originally released in February 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and Nintendo DS the game was developed by Blue Tongue Entertainment and published by THQ. After THQ went bankrupt the rights were secured by THQ Nordic. Since then the publisher been steadily re-releasing remastered versions of THQ's games to re-ignite popularity.

de Blob 2 has you taking control of de Blob once again as a cult has taken over Prisma City and drained it of its color. You're charged with restoring color to the world and beating his enemies. The game includes 12 large single-player levels, new power-ups when compared to the first game, and split-screen multiplayer support.

de Blob 2 launches on February 27th for Xbox One and PS4.
