Dead or Alive 6 Delayed to March 2019 to Resolve Balancing Issues
Dead or Alive 6 delayed by 2 weeks

Dead or Alive 6 was scheduled to launch this February 15th but has been pushed back to March for balancing and gameplay issues.
Yohei Shimbori, the Producer and Director of Dead or Alive 6 had this to say:
“The title’s development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best DEAD OR ALIVE gaming experience. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of DEAD OR ALIVE 6.”
While waiting a couple more weeks isn't a bad thing it's likely that the delay was to prevent the game from competing with titles releasing within that range as well. Metro Exodus, Anthem, Crackdown 3, and Jump Force are all launching in February and having another game, especially a fighting game, would cut into sales.
Dead or Alive 6 will be launching on PS4, Xbox One, and PC this March 1st.
