Epic Games Reveals New Free Game for Weekly Vault

The Epic Games store has been releasing free games every Thursday in their Epic Vault, helping players stay inside, stay safe and enjoy themselves during the Coronavirus quarentine. Their most recent game was Civilizations VI, and hundreds of subscribers have already downloaded it, as it is still being updated and is the most recent installment in Sid Meier's strategy based history simulator. But on May 27, Epic Games tweeted an announcement of their next game--which was quickly taken down. However, before the Tweet was removed, many fans picked up on it and expressed their excitement for this new reveal.

Although this tweet has since been removed from Twitter, by the time of this article. the free game has been officially revealed on the Epic Games Store. For one week, Epic Games is offering subscribers the chance to claim Borderlands:The Handsome Collection for themselves, at no cost at all. This game might be older than Epic's previous free game, but The Handsome Collection consists of two great games: Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. 

When it released, Borderlands 2 was a fan favorite for many players of the Borderlands franchise, and remains in the higher tier spot even today.
