End of Abyss Guide | How to Find the Security Chief Keycard

The Security Chief Keycard in End of Abyss is a keycard that unlocks high-security doors in the Habitation Sector. It is on B1 (Basement Level 1), but you need another keycard to get into the area. After you get the Security Guard Keycard, getting the Security Chief Keycard is easy.

Before searching for the Security Chief Keycard, you must obtain the Security Guard Keycard from the Containment Sector.

This earlier keycard is found on a corpse behind a destructible wall on Floor 2 (F2) of the Containment Sector. You need an Explosive Charge to access the hidden room containing it.

Once you have the Security Guard Keycard, return to the Habitation Sector to access the restricted basement.

Enter the Habitation Sector Basement

Go to Floor 1 (F1) of the Habitation Sector and go to the main hall with the Vault.

Use the Security Guard Keycard to open the security door on the east side of the hall.

Walk down the hallway and take the northern passage to the stairs that go down to Basement Level 1 (B1).

Locate the Security Chief Keycard

Once you reach Basement Level 1, head west and enter the room through the door on the left.

Inside, there’s the Security Chief Keycard on a table. Walk up to the table and snatch it along with the item.

You do not need to defeat a boss or complete another puzzle to obtain the keycard after reaching this room.

Unlock the High-Security Doors

After collecting the Security Chief Keycard, return toward the main hall of the Habitation Sector.

Use the keycard to unlock the previously inaccessible high-security doors. These passages lead into additional restricted rooms, including the area containing a Data Shard.

Picking up the Security Chief Keycard in the basement of the Habitation Sector allows you access to the high-security rooms and to collectibles you couldn’t reach before.
