Frostpunk: Console Edition Comes to PS4 and Xbox One in October

Frostpunk from 11 Bit Studios has been a massive hit among the PC gaming community. With players having to keep their society alive by any means. Now, the developer has confirmed Frostpunk for the PS4 and Xbox One.

This will be a challenge as RTS games have not translated well on consoles due to the limitations of the controller. But on Xbox One gamers can connect a mouse and keyboard. The development team ensures that they've worked extensively to ensure playing on a controller is a viable option. No gameplay was shown in the trailer so it's hard to tell how it'll work.

The console edition will launch with all the PC updates.

Frostpunk: Console Edition comes to PS4 and Xbox One on October 11 digitally. The physical version will follow on October 18 in EU and October 22 in the US. Robert reviewed Frostpunk on PC and stated "what’s available now is an undoubtedly engrossing experience for as long as it lasts. So much so that some of the choices I had to make still haunt me."
