Gears 5 Goes Gold, New Footage and Horde Mode Reveal Coming this Month

Gears 5 will make its release date, with the game now going gold. In addition, Geoff Keighley stated that new footage from the game’s Horde Mode during Microsoft’s Inside Xbox presentation on August 19th.

This will be the first time Horde mode will be shown. Personally, I really hope they bring back Beast Mode. Which allowed gamers to take control of the enemies within the game. First introduced in Gears of War 3 it was incredibly popular.

As for the campaign's footage, it'll be refreshing to see something new. Hopefully, the teaser image of Marcus with Kait means something.

Gears 5 launches for Xbox One, PC, and through Xbox Game Pass this September 10th. With a special edition Xbox One launching the same day.
