God of War 4 Was Going to Have DLC

Despite stating back in March that DLC for God of War 4 wasn't going to happen it looks like the director of the highly acclaimed title did attempt to try to include it into the game. In a recent interview with Kinda Funny, Cory Barlog explained that DLC plans for God of War 4 fell through when it became too ambitious. 

"I had a really fun idea for a DLC that I only regret because I would love to have done that," Barlog said. "But it was too ambitious."

According to Barlog, the suggested DLC would have gone from a DLC to extra content and venture into a standalone campaign like Uncharted: Lost Legacy or inFamous: Second Son's First Light DLC. This forced the studio to stop work on the DLC.
