Grand Theft Auto V Sells 140 Million Units

Grand Theft Auto V is the most successful entertainment product of all time. With the title continuing to sell huge despite launching more than 5 years ago on the Xbox 360 and PS3, the acclaimed title has seen incredible success thanks to constant updates and mods from the community.

It was re-released for the PS4 and Xbox One with an FPS option and is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X this year. Now, GTA V has reached 140 million units sold.

Grand Theft Auto V is still getting updated with new online content, but rumors have been surfacing about new single-player content despite Rockstar stating years ago that they would be focusing on multiplayer content.

Regardless, it'll be interesting to see how Rockstar and Take-Two decide to handle the online elements of the next game, as Red Dead Online has not reached the same acclaim as of yet and continues to fall over.

Grand Theft Auto V is now available on Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Xbox Series X and PS5 versions are coming this year.
