Judgment Confirmed to Still Release in the West Following Controversy
SEGA still releasing Judgment on time
News by Grayshadow on Mar 24, 2019
Recently, a controversy surrounding Pierre Taki, a voice-actor in Japan arrested for cocaine use, may have delayed shipments of the game Judgment since Taki voiced one of the characters within the game. Despite shipments and digital sales being halted the game's release date will not change. SEGA confirmed Judgement will launch on time on June 25th.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the character model and Japanese voice for the character of Kyohei Hamura will be adjusted for the Western release of Judgment, launching on June 25, 2019.

This should come as a relief of fans who are anticipating the title but SEGA has confirmed that the voice and character mode for Kyohei Hamura, who was played by Taki, has been adjusted and the game is set to release on time.
Judgment launches this June 25th for PS4.
