Left 4 Dead 2 Free Weekend

In celebration of Halloween Left 4 Dead 2 is getting a free-to-play weekend on Steam. The game will be free-to-play starting on Thursday (10/25) and ending on Monday (10/29) at 10AM PDT. The game can now be pre-loaded in anticipation for the free weekend.

Current owners of the game have the opportunity to unlock a new achievement. The achievement's description is “Plays games with free weekend players and helps them survive a campaign.” and called Good Guy Nick. In other words, to unlock the achievement you must currently own the game and play the campaign this weekend with free-to-play gamers.

Pre-load the game now on Steam and spend your weekend preparing for the zombie apocalypse.
