Nintendo Tradmarks Pokemon Rumble for Nintendo Switch

It's been about a year since the Nintendo Switch debuted and many fans are still waiting for Nintendo to unveil a new Pokemon game. Since the mainline series ended on the 3DS with Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon the next "core" franchise was announced for the Nintendo Switch. A recent trademark from Nintendo has been spotted and suggests that the 2 Pokemon games are in development.

Reported by Newsweek, Pokemon Rumble was trademarked for the Nintendo Switch. This is one of many spin-off series within the franchise and released on the 3DS, Wii, and Wii U, with the most recent installment being in 2015 for the 3DS. While it's possible this is a mobile title as Nintendo has found major success in its mobile market the Nintendo Switch shouldn't be counted out.

For now, this is all speculation and we'll most likely hear more at E3 2018.
