PC Version of Batman: Arkham City Delayed Yet Again
News by David on Nov 08, 2011
It’s a tough time to be a PC gamer lately. Those patiently waiting for the PC version will have to wait a little bit longer to get their hands on it. Instead of being released on November 15 as intended, Batman: Arkham City for PC will be delayed for at least a week.
Oh, I’m sure you’re wondering (and probably grieving) as to the new release date(s) will be. Don’t worry, I got ‘em right here. For North America, it will be on November 22; November 23 for those people down under (that means Australia, in case you didn’t know); November 24th for France and Benelux; and last but certainly not least, November 25th in Europe.

Batman is NOT amused.
Two months ago, Rocksteady clarified the PC version would be “worth the wait,” according to Eurogamer, promising “higher detail textures” and “a more richly realised world.”
"All of the source textures and assets are done at a very very high res and we make them work on all the different SKUs. People will really love the PC version when it comes out,” they added.
So far, we’ve gotten no word on why it was delayed in the first place, and I guess we won’t know until Warner Bros. chooses to reveal it themselves. Console gamers have been playing Arkham City for almost a month now, and it’s understandable that PC gamers would feel left out of playing such a kickass game (read our review for Batman: Arkham City). The important thing now is actually putting the game out, so let's hope this won't be delayed any further.
