Pete Hines Says Wolfenstein III is “Absolutely” Happening

One of Bethesda's biggest IPs is Wolfenstein. Since the revival of the franchise and the upcoming Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot and Wolfenstein: Youngblood coming next year many are wondering if there will be a Wolfenstein III. Bethesda's Pete Hines has stated "Absolutely".

 

Speaking to UK outlet Metro during Gamescom Pete Hines said:

“Yeah, sure. Absolutely we’re making a Wolfenstein III. They said on stage that they’re taking a break from the larger story to do this thing. But we all have to see how that ends.”

The game Hines was referring to is the cooperative shooter Wolfenstein: Youngblood that stars protagonist BJ Blazkowicz's daughters. It's likely we won't see the third game until 2020 if we're lucky.
