Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire - Seeker, Slayer, Survivor Releases Later This Month

Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire - Seeker, Slayer, Survivor will launch later this month, developer Obsidian announced in a backer update. The upcoming DLC, second of the three announced as part of the Season Pass, will focus heavily on combat.

"Far from the bustling trade lanes of the Deadfire Archipelego, the most ambitious warriors of Eora gather to compete for divine favor. Face the challenges of Kazuwari's Crucible and seek treasure and truth in an arena designed to test the mettle of you and your party. Slay your way through the most challenging foes you have ever faced, both past and present. Survive the trials and whims of the spirits and their worshipers to prove you stand above even the greatest the Deadfire has to offer."

Prior to the release of the DLC, patch 2.1 will go live adding two previously annoucned God Challenges. Abydon's challenge will see that weapon and armor degrade as they're used, destroying them unless Enchantmens are applied to remove the damage. Skaen's challenge will introduce fog of war while indoors or at night making players lean more on lanterns and torches to pierce it. Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire - Seeker, Slayer, Survivor is set to launch on September 25th, 2018 on PC.
