Respawn Entertainment Confirms Battle Royale Game Apex Legends
New battle royale title coming from Titanfall developers

Since December, rumors of a new Titanfall game have been surfacing with Respawn Entertainment looking to fill new positions relating to the game. Now, after a weekend of rumors surrounding a free-to-play Titanfall battle royale game Respawn Entertainment has confirmed the title to be true. Apex Legends will be Respawn's next game.

Confirmed through Twitter by studio co-founder Vince Zampella, Zampella confirmed that more news will be coming tomorrow through Twitch.
Currently, we know that Apex Legends will be a free-to-play game that will feature 60 players with 3 player groups with microtransactions available. No word on platforms or if it'll launch in early-access.
Respawn Entertainment is also working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
