Rockstar Revives Red Dead Online Outlaw Pass Items

So Red Dead Online players have reason to get excited this August as Rockstar Games launches a content-packed monthly update full of fan-favorite returns and lucrative opportunities. From classic Outlaw Pass items making a long-awaited comeback to triple gold and XP payouts on Call to Arms, this month caters exclusively to bounty hunters and collectors hoping to rack up some serious cash. 

The event is officially live starting on August 5 and running till September 2, with an array of content to fill your Red Dead appetite. Leading the charge is a hefty lineup of bonuses, including double gold, cash, and XP for legendary and infamous bounty missions.

Players looking to build wealth quickly will also find triple cash and XP across regular bounty contracts and all featured series throughout the month. Weekly rotations of featured series will further help players rake in rewards and XP; the time has never been better to rekindle your Red Dead Online journey, so "finders keepers, losers weepers" is the message we bring you today. 

In keeping with the bounty-focused theme, Rockstar is giving away five gold bars off the Prestigious Bounty Hunter License, which is a necessary unlock for bounty hunters. Also, among other news, discounts galore! On your bounty hunter wagons and wagon tents (50% off), miracle tonics (standard, potent, and hardy), bounty hunter outfits (40% off), sniper rifles, revolvers, boots, gun belts, and off-hand holsters.

Additional savings include 30% off pamphlets for special ammunition like split-point cartridges, express explosives, and incendiary buckshot, plus discounts on Breton and Arabian horses. The Woodland Gloves, Strickland Boots, Dillah Hat, Carver Pants, and Macbay Jacket make a return to your limited-time stock, each offering a variety of visual variants at varying gold or cash prices. Players can also avail themselves of this month's free, community-inspired outfit curated by KingRaedwald0559, featuring specific gear tailored to both male and female characters, including the Drifter Hat, Classic Frock Coat, Studded Pants, and more.

On top of that, Rockstar is bringing back select items from Outlaw Pass One and Quick Draw Club drops, which many players, especially if you're on PC, never had a chance to acquire. For simply logging into the game during the event window, players will earn the Rober Pants from Quick Draw Club 2 along with three Minty Big Game meals.

Completing three daily challenges will unlock the rare Scheme emote from Outlaw Pass One, while completing all bounty hunter challenges for two consecutive days grants the returning Morning Tail Coat in gray and blue.

More rewards are tied to combat accomplishments. Reaching wave five in Call to Arms earns players the coveted Frontiersman Pants and Belt, another Outlaw Pass item. Participating in Call to Arms at all this month also nets a 50% off weapon voucher; Rockstar is basically doing a giveaway at this point.

Weekly challenges provide rotating rewards: players who complete a legendary bounty between August 5 and 11 will receive the White Vuero Baroque Spurs. From August 12 to 18, purchasing any weapon modification will grant a North Ridgewood treasure map.

Completing three bounty missions between August 19 and 25 will unlock either the Silver Ko Jacket (male characters) or the Black Chambliss Corset (female characters). Wrapping up the month, players who either rank up five times or already hold level 20 in the bounty hunter role between August 26 and September 1 will receive the exclusive White Manasco Hat.

The return of Outlaw Pass One item is a major highlight for collectors. PC players in particular never had access to the original pass, which launched before Red Dead Online came to the platform. While only two items from the pass have returned so far, Rockstar's decision to sprinkle them into the rewards pool hints at the possibility of more re-releases in the future.
