SEGA Europe, The Creative Assembly, and Feral Interactive have announced that Total War: WARHAMMER III will be available for macOS on May 5. For the first time in Total War's history, WARHAMMER III is being developed in conjunction with Games Workshop's popular Warhammer Fantasy Battle tabletop wargame.
To rescue or exploit the power of the fading gods, players in WARHAMMER III are pitted against one other in a battle for supremacy over the mortals and daemons. This game includes seven distinct playable races, including Grand Cathay and Kislev for the first time in a video game, innovative new elements like the Realm of Chaos storyline, eight-player multiplayer, and the configurable RPG-style Daemon Prince Legendary Lord character.
The Prologue campaign, a new Total War adventure, is available alongside these territories for the newcomers or who need a refresher lesson on the basics. Basic and advanced generalship skills are taught, and a narrative experience serves as a bridge to the primary campaign.
Total War: WARHAMMER III needs Apple Silicon for its original macOS release. According to the game's system requirements mentioned below, any Macs with an Apple M1 chip or greater are compatible with the game.
OS: macOS 12.0.1
Processor: Apple M1 (8?Core CPU) or better
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics: Apple M1 (7?Core GPU) or better
Storage: 125 GB
Developed by Creative Assembly and Feral Interactive and published by SEGA, Total War: Warhammer III launched on February 17, 2022, on PC.
