Sid Meier's Civilization is turning 25 this year. 2K and Firaxis Games are marking the anniversary with a new release in the Civilization series, everyone's favorite "one more turn simulator". Sid Meier's Civilization VI marks a return to the historical setting that got the series it's acclaim. It also plans to expand upon some features present in past iterations.

Cities will now span multiple tiles allowing for increased customization and exploitation of nearby land. Diplomacy will change over the course of the game as your people become more civilized. For the first time, the concept of combined arms is introduced as players will be able to attach support units to other military units and military units to workers on the same tile. An improved tutorial system alongside multiplayer challenges close the list of features available now. The game is available for pre-order and will be relased on the 21st of October 2016 for $59.99/£49.99/€59.99. A digital deluxe featuring the full game, the 25th anniversary soundtrack and access to 4 post-launch DLC that will add new maps, civilizations, leaders and scenarios, is also available.
Sid Meier's Civilization VI will also be present at E3, booth #1601, South Hall.
