Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion Explained by Producer Hisashi Nogami

This weekend marks the beginning of Splatoon 2's TMNT themed Splatfest. However, the bigger expansion is coming soon called Octo Expansion. In a recent video producer, Hisashi Nogami went on to answer more questions about the expansion.

Nogami explained that the Splatoon 2 team wanted the expansion to feel distinct from the single-player, Salmon Run, and multiplayer since the beginning. To do this they ensured the expansion's story is mysterious so players can discover what's going on when it goes live.

Nogami explained the expansion will include 80 stages, new weapons, and more information on Pearl and Marina.

Splatoon 2 is now available for Nintendo Switch.
