Xbox GM Confirms that Starfield is Not a Timed Exclusive
Starfield not coming to PlayStation
News by Grayshadow on Aug 31, 2021
Since Microsoft acquired Bethesda many were wondering about the future of certain games. One of those titles is the highly anticipated Starfield coming this November 11th, 2022. Many are hoping that like Deathloop this is a timed exclusive situation but Xbox's GM decided to drop the hammer on the situation. Reaffirming it's not coming to PlayStation 4 or 5.
We have tried to be as clear as possible, not a timed exclusive, this is simply where the game is being made. ????

This was due to the language being used that the game was being built for Xbox and PC platforms. This created the hope that was quickly squashed about it possibly coming to PlayStation systems.
As expected gamers are not happy with the situation. Since Bethesda games have been mostly multiplatform this shift has not been appealing for PlayStation gamers.
Starfield is set to release on November 11, 2022, for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
