Causal Loop Guide | How to Solve Every Puzzle in Chapter 9

Chapter 9 of Causal Loop begins after the ice-slide cutscene and quickly turns into one of the game’s more complex puzzle routes. You need to move Cubes between different slots, use Teleporters in the correct order, and time Buttons with moving markers. Follow each section carefully, because several puzzles only work after earlier Cubes and Branches are placed correctly.

Entering the Cave and Solving the First Cube Puzzle

After the cutscene, move forward, turn left, then right, then left again until you enter the cave. On the right side, pick up the Orange Cube and place it in the first Orange Cube Slot. Go through the doorway, jump up, press the Button, and drop back down.

Move the Orange Cube to the next Orange Cube Slot, enter the newly opened doorway, and press the Button inside. Take the Yellow Cube and place it in the Yellow Cube Slot. Then move the Orange Cube back to the first slot, go through, collect the Green Cube, and place it in the Green Cube Slot. Pick up the Orange Cube once more, place it in the final Orange Cube Slot, and continue forward.

Reaching the Yellow Cube Teleporter Puzzle

After the cutscene, go forward and press the Button. When the next cutscene ends, go down the stairs and turn right. Jump up and enter the Teleporter. Move forward, turn left, and press the Button to make the wall slide.

Go left and return all the way back. Pick up the Yellow Cube and throw it through the hole. Take the Pink Teleporter, collect the Yellow Cube again, and throw it through the second hole. Enter the Yellow Teleporter, go down, pick up the Yellow Cube, turn right, and place it into the Yellow Cube Slot.

Solving the Two Branch Bubble Puzzle

Press the Button near the Yellow Cube Slot, even though it will not activate the full puzzle yet. Enter the room with two Branch Bubbles. Go into the left Branch Bubble, create a Branch, and pass through the Yellow Teleporter.

Drop down, press the Button, and break the Branch. Then enter the other Branch Bubble and go through the Pink Teleporter. Move forward, turn right, and press the Button as soon as the ramp lowers. Break the Branch, move forward, and go all the way right.

Timing the Circle Meter and Charging the Pink Cube

Wait until the Circle Meter lines up with the Red And Blue Markers, then press the Button. Let the Cube move past, then press the Button at the end. Turn around, go through the Teleporter, move forward, turn left twice, go up the stairs, and press the Button again.

Go back down the stairs, turn left, cross the bridge, turn left, and enter the Teleporter. Move forward and press the Button to get the Pink Cube. Jump across and place it into the Pink Cube Power Slot. Once it charges, jump across the platforms again, place it into the Pink Cube Slot, jump back, and press the Button.

Building the Final Branch Route

Pick up the Green Cube, go back up the stairs, and place it in the Green Cube Slot. Turn around, go down the stairs, and enter the Teleporter. Move forward and create a Branch inside the Branch Bubble. When building this route, jump at the dip in the middle so there is enough space.

Create another Branch on the opposite end. Wait for the gate to become inactive, then crawl under the other Branch so the two Branches do not intersect. Press the Button after crossing through. Avoid touching either Branch, then enter the Teleporter and pass through the doorway.

Wait again for the Red And Blue Markers to sync with the Circle Meter, then press the Button. Move to the next Button and press it. Enter the Teleport, cross the bridge, return to the main Button, press it, finish the dialogue, and go forward to complete Chapter 9.
