Detroit: Become Human Guide | How To Unlock The Secret Kamski Ending

This guide explains how to reach the secret CyberLife victory route by allowing key characters to die or fail at specific moments, ultimately locking you into the hidden ending. Every step below preserves narrative intent while clarifying exact chapters and conditions so you can reliably reproduce the outcome. 

Kara — Stormy Night

In Stormy Night, this is the earliest chapter where Kara and Alice can die. When Todd tells you not to move, stand still and do not become deviant. He will go upstairs to beat Alice, kill her, and afterward kill Kara, permanently ending this storyline here. 

You can also fight him in Alice’s Bedroom and fail every QTE (Quick Time Event), but only if you do not get the pistol from Todd’s Bedroom. Or, after you win the bedroom fight and Todd is alive, get caught while you try to escape from the house. 

Kara — On The Run

In On The Run, when you are escaping from Connor, fail the entire QTE sequence when crossing the highway. 

Kara — Zlatko

After you find Alice in Zlatko, fail the QTE during the escape and get shot by Zlatko. Alternatively, wait ten minutes to let Luther bring Alice to Zlatko. 

Connor — Last Chance, Connor

Connor can only die permanently in Last Chance, Connor. In earlier chapters, if Connor dies, a new Connor takes his place. Here, all you have to do is avoid finding Jericho’s location. 

When you are in the Evidence Room, let the timer run out to be sent back to CyberLife for deactivation. You can also be sent immediately back to CyberLife if you did not obtain any evidence throughout the game. 

This means you should not find Carlos Ortiz’s android, let Rupert escape, fail to find Simon, avoid interrogating the Broadcast Android, and let the Tracis escape. Important note: do not ask Kamski for Jericho’s location if you kill Chloe. 

Markus — Freedom March

Freedom March is the earliest episode where Markus can die, and the only one before Crossroads. When the cops arrive, you have two routes. 

If you are demonstrating peacefully, sacrifice yourself—but only if you refused to let John join you in Spare Parts, and Simon was killed in Stratford Tower or Public Enemy; otherwise, they will save you. 

Alternatively, attack the humans, miss every QTE so you lose the fight, and choose whether or not to shoot yourself when prompted. 

Game Over — CyberLife Wins

If you follow these failure states, CyberLife wins and you unlock the secret Kamski ending. Enjoy the ending.
