This Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred build is all about fast Bone Spirit, Astral Bone Spirit, Sever and Bone Storm and makes the Necromancer a top tier endgame class. It plays as a speedfarm build but is still solid enough to do tough endgame fights. The core idea is simple: activate Bone Storm for nice buffs, summon Bone Spirit to create deadly circling spirits and use Sever for fast enemy movement.

How The Fast Necro Build Works

Astral Bone Spirit is the core of this build. The upgrade lets Bone Spirits circle around you and scale with Maximum Essence. The trade-off is that Bone Spirit spends all of your Essence when cast, so the build depends heavily on Essence Regeneration.

Essence Regeneration Affixes, the Dudge Aspect, and the Gift Of Death Mage upgrade help restore Essence quickly. Gift Of Death is especially important because each active Mage gives a multiplicative bonus to Essence Generation. That makes every point of Essence Regeneration more valuable.

Why Sever Makes The Build So Fast

Sever works as the build’s mobility tool. In this setup, its movement scales with Attack Speed, which allows you to move through maps extremely quickly. Since Bone Storm gives a large Attack Speed bonus, Sever becomes much smoother and faster during active combat.

Bone Storm also gives Critical Strike Chance, Attack Speed, and a strong Barrier. This makes it both an offensive and defensive skill. Rapid Ossification is important because it reduces Bone Storm’s cooldown when you spend Essence. Since Bone Spirit spends all Essence, it naturally helps refresh Bone Storm often.

Best Uniques And Aspects

Banished Lord’s Talisman is one of the most important uniques because it gives Overpower stacks when you spend Essence. These stacks increase your burst potential and work well with the build’s constant Essence spending.

Godslayer Crown also fits the build well. Decrepify and the Wat Rune help apply crowd control automatically, which allows Godslayer Crown to group enemies without extra button presses. Vengeful Sinew is another key item because it makes Bone Spirit explode twice and deal more damage.

For farming, Godslayer Crown can drop from Andariel, while Vengeful Sinew can come from The Butcher Lair boss. Banished Lord’s Talisman is harder to target, so the best option is to use the Horadric Cube to transmute regular Amulets into Unique Amulets.

Charms, Fortify, And Overpower Scaling

Red Blessing is a major charm choice because it gives a strong multiplier based on Overpower stacks. Tidal Aspect becomes important here because it increases your maximum Overpower stacks when placed on a two-handed weapon while you are Fortified.

Necrotic Carapace helps generate Fortify when you consume Corpses. The Desecration Charm Set adds more damage and helps generate Corpses when Bone Storm is used. This also works with the Bone Storm duration upgrade, allowing the skill to last longer by consuming Corpses.

Best Defensive Setup

This Necromancer also uses Resolve stacking for survivability. Glin’s Aspect increases Damage Reduction per Resolve stack, while Aspect Of Shielding Bones helps generate Resolve when casting Bone skills. Tempering Maximum Resolve Stacks gives the build much better durability.

Maximum Life is also important. A strong endgame version should aim for around 40,000 HP to make the defensive setup feel reliable.

For Runewords, Moni and Wat help apply Decrepify while moving with Sever and casting Bone Spirit. The other useful setup is Poc and Jah, which gives Teleport and helps avoid getting stuck on map edges.

Book Of The Dead Choices

The Book Of The Dead setup stays simple. Use Skeletal Reapers for more damage, Shadow Mages for extra Barrier, and sacrifice the Iron Golem for another damage increase.
