Remembrances are the narrative part of Elden Ring Nightreign. You'll unlock relics, chalices, and skins by completing the Remembrance Quests.

Unlocking and Starting the Quests

To start the remembrance quests for a character, you must first kill a Night Lord with the character you are doing the Remembrance for. For instance, you must kill a Night Lord with Iron Eye to obtain Iron Eye's remembrance quest.

Afterward, proceed to the Journal section of Round Table Hold. If you select the journal from the menu, it will take you there. If you have killed a Night Lord using that character, you will be presented with the option, Begin Remembrance.

Choose this, and it will take you to a different area of the game known as the Realm of Remembrance, a ghostly area that otherwise plays very much like normal gameplay.

Talking to the Priestess

You should see an NPC marked on your map with an exclamation point when you're in the Realm of Remembrance — that's the Priestess. She will be marked after you've initiated the Remembrance for your character.

You need to travel to where she is and talk with her. When you converse, you'll be discussing the Fellowship and the Trader. If these two are your only options, be sure to choose both.

After speaking with the Priestess, you will be given a personal mission. The personal objective usually involves killing a particular enemy.

Accepting the mission will appear as your objective, which you can complete in your expedition. You can only complete one personal objective per expedition.

When playing multiplayer, only one player's personal objective is present the entire time, so it's completely RNG if the personal objective in the team is yours. You can also do solo expeditions to avoid that and only do your objective.

Defeating the Enemy

The objective is usually defeating an enemy that is a copy of the character that you are playing. It is a straightforward fight.

After defeating the enemy, the game will tell you that you have killed the invader and will receive an object known as the Traitor's Letter.

You will need to pick that up, and then it's your choice whether you want to complete the expedition or return to the Round-Table Hold by simply dying.

Giving the Letter

When you return to Round Table Hold, return to the Priestess, who will now be marked with an exclamation mark. Talk to her and give her the Traitor's Letter.

There'll be some dialogue, bringing you to the remembrance quest's end. There will now be a gateway to her side that will exit remembrance mode and get you back to the everyday world.

When you leave remembrance mode, you will get the rewards. The reward includes Chalices, relics, and skins.

If you look in your journal, you'll see more than one remembrance quest for various characters, so keep a watch on your journal and finish them all to get all the rewards.
