For Wizards, finding new spells, staffs, and incantations is always exciting, and in Elden Ring Nightreign, the excitement is even better. Here's a guide on how you can find new spells, staff, and Incantations in the game.
Finding New Spells and Staffs
For new spells and staff, you need to visit the several forts or castles that will be scattered around the map. You'll know which ones contain the items you're looking for by the staff symbol shown above it when you click the details button.
The weapons and spells will be located in the same room each time at the top. You can run past all of the enemies to get there quickly, and once you're at the top, interact with the weapons rack to get your reward. You'll always find two staffs with new spells preloaded on them inside each fort.
Opening Rise Towers for Additional Spells
You can also open the Rise Towers for new spells. There are usually two towers in each expedition, and they're easy to open, so make your way to the top by solving the quest puzzle and gaining access to the tower.
Finding Incantations at Cathedrals
Incantations are found in the cathedrals. Look for the sacred seal icon on the map to know which places have them. There are a few different types of cathedrals.
Cathedrals with Golem Boss
For the ones with the golem boss, the sacred seal is usually found on the upper floor, which you can easily get to by climbing the broken pillars near the entrance.
Cathedrals with Musical Oracle Enemies
For the cathedral with the musically gifted oracle enemies, the seal and incantations are usually found on the ground in the corner. You'll get two sacred seals at a minimum, but sometimes, there will be three if it's your lucky day.
Underground Cathedral Locations
There are two additional types of cathedrals that have sacred seals located underground. You can recognize these by the types of enemies found around the cathedral.
If there are fire monks or ghoulish knights around, then you'll know that the seal and incantations will be underground, so drop down the hole in the floor and claim your rewards.
Alternative Method: Enemy Drops
You can, of course, gain the weapons, spells, and incantations from drops after killing enemies, but these are never guaranteed. As the clock is always against you in Elden Ring Nightreign, it's a better option to just run to a fort, castle, or cathedral straight away to get the stuff you need.
