End of Abyss Guide | How to Find the Basement Access Card Location

In End of Abyss, the Basement Keycard is required to access a locked area in Factory East's basement. You might find the inaccessible basement door before you get the keycard, but the item is located later in the game, near the junction of the Containment Sector and Factory East. You will need to find it to get the Radiation Protection Suit Mod.

Progress through Factory East and the Waterworks until you gain access to the Containment Sector.

After reaching the Containment Sector through the Waterworks ladder, head toward the western side of the area. The route eventually reconnects with Factory East, allowing you to reach the previously inaccessible section.

Explore the Containment Sector with caution, as radiation will gradually damage your health unless you are equipped with a suitable protective suit mod.

Follow the Route Through the Containment Sector

From the Containment Sector entrance, climb the ladder leading into the area.

When you reach the upper passage, take a left and continue through the interconnected hallways towards the western side.

Continue left until close to the passage from the Containment Sector to Factory East. You'll end up at an extendable bridge near the line between the two zones.

Collect the Basement Keycard

When you arrive near the bridge, look for a glowing item on the ground beside a body.

Interact with the item and use it to get the Basement Keycard. This keycard opens the restricted basement area of Factory East.

Unlock the Passage to Factory East

After collecting the keycard, interact with the nearby control panel to extend the bridge.

Cross the bridge and activate the lever to open the large door leading into Factory East.

Follow the route down through Factory East to Basement Level 2 (B2). Use the Basement Keycard to enter the restricted room and clear the enemy ambush inside.

Enter the smaller room to the west and pick up the Radiation Protection Suit Mod. Head back to a Restoration Pod and equip it before you head through the irradiated Containment Sector.

The Basement Keycard is located near the Containment Sector bridge, which you can use to unlock the basement of Factory East and pick up the Radiation Protection Suit Mod.
