End of Abyss Guide | How to Find the Security Guard Access Card Location

In End of Abyss, you will need the Security Guard Keycard to access locked doors in the Habitation Sector and reach extra rooms. These locked doors are encountered early on in the game, but the keycard is located much later in the Containment Sector. To get it, find a destructible wall and look behind the body.

Progress through the main story until you reach the Containment Sector. You can access this area after completing the necessary objectives in the Waterworks.

Once inside, head to Floor 2 (F2). You can find the Security Guard Keycard towards the bottom right of this floor, close to the Containment Sector’s Fast Travel Shuttle.

Locate the Destructible Wall

From the Waterworks entrance, follow the corridors through the Containment Sector and take the stairs leading toward the upper floor.

Continue until you reach the area around the Fast Travel Shuttle. Look for a weak wall that can be blown up with an Explosive Charge.

To enter the hidden room, you will need an Explosive Charge. If you’ve used up your charges, return to a Save Room and craft another at the workbench.

Destroy the Wall and Collect the Keycard

Place an Explosive Charge against the fragile wall and detonate it to create an opening.

Walk into the newly available room and go up to the body lying there. Interact with the body to get the Security Guard Keycard.

Use the Security Guard Keycard

After collecting the keycard, return to the Habitation Sector. Head toward the previously locked security door at the eastern end of the corridor on F1.

Use the Security Guard Keycard to open the door. Go through the newly opened passage and down to Basement Level 1 (B1), where you can find the Security Chief Keycard.
