Here’s how you can get the You Dropped This Trophy.

To get the "You Dropped This" trophy in Ghost of Yōtei, you are required to disarm an enemy, followed by defeating them with their own weapon. Doing so requires you to unlock a skill and utilise proper timing during the fight; this guide will explain how.

Unlocking the Skill

To get your hands on the Disarm Counter, you need to unlock it from the Onryo Attack skill tree. This skill will allow you to disarm enemies during a specific attack an animation where a golden glint shows.

There’s a specific side quest that you need to complete or visit cartographers to reveal Alters of Reflections to earn the necessary skill points to activate the skill.

There will be an opportunity to get a cartographer's map after dealing with Lord Saitto's men at the Inn.

Once the skill points are collected, unlock the first attack technique and then proceed by locking the Disarm Skill. When your time your Triangle button to the golden glint the attack will perform successfully.

Performing the Disarm

During combat, once you successfully disarm your opponent by holding the triangle and releasing it just before the attack lands, the enemy's weapon will fall to the ground to can pick it up. You’ll need to press our two and throw it using Square to defeat them, unlocking the "You Dropped This" trophy.

A great spot to perform this skill is doing the "Light of Hand" Side quest, where there will be a bunch of Ronin enemies, which often use the golden glint attacks, making them ideal.
