This guide will help you get the Crimson Kimono Armor Set in Ghost of Yōtei. The process begins with accepting a quest from a Storyteller located in the northern part of the map.

Starting the Quest

To begin, travel to Teshio Ridge. From there, fast travel to the Sakuru Woods. After arriving, proceed toward the marked area on your map. Near the corner of this location, you will encounter the Storyteller, who will offer you the Crimson Kimono quest. Speak to the Storyteller to initiate it in Ghost of Yōtei.

Investigating the First Ice Sculpture

After receiving the quest, your first task is to examine the nearby Ice Sculpture. Once you inspect it, you will notice small red creatures known as Yuki Mushi. Follow them to track the correct route forward. The Yuki Mushi will lead you to a campsite.

At the campsite, inspect the pieces of wood on the ground, examine the Doll, and then read the journal that you find. Reading the journal will unlock a new location that you must travel to next.

Traveling to the Yellow Tree

If you do not have a fast travel point near the new location, use the closest available one. When you arrive in the area, look for the Yellow Tree, which can be easily seen near the center of the zone. Once you reach it, inspect the nearby ice Sculpture.

After examining the Sculpture, move to the left, where a group of Yuki Mushi will appear. Soon after, you will be attacked by enemies. Defeat them, then return to the Yuki Mushi and interact with them again to continue the quest in Ghost of Yōtei.

Reaching the Abandoned Shack

Follow the Yuki Mushi to an abandoned shack. Once you arrive, inspect the surroundings carefully and read another journal found there. Afterward, fast travel to the next quest location indicated on your map.

Inspecting the Second Yellow Tree

At this new destination, locate another Yellow Tree, which will again be positioned near the center of the area. Once you reach the tree, inspect the nearby ice Sculpture. After interacting with it, follow the Yuki Mushi once more as they guide you to the next location.

Continue onward until you reach another structure that resembles a cabin. Enter the building and explore it in Ghost of Yōtei.

Collecting the Final Journal

After exiting through the back of the cabin, climb upward to access the upper section. There, you will find another journal that you need to collect.

Once you have obtained it, descend back down and proceed toward the final ice Sculpture located nearby. Inspect the last ice Sculpture to progress to the concluding stage of the quest.

Unlocking Crimson Kimono

Once you've finished all the steps before this one, go to the last place marked on your map. In this spot, you will find a grave. You can get the Crimson Kimono outfit by interacting with it. Once you do that, the quest will be over and the Crimson Kimono will be added to your collection in Ghost of Yōtei.
