Hollow Knight: Silksong is filled with abilities, tools, and skills. One of these said abilities is the Reaper Crest, which is an interesting early-game addition to the player's arsenal.

This guide will help you find it and help you with any hurdles that come along the way.

The Location of Reaper Crest

It can be found in the area Greymoor; after making our way there, we have to head to the left and make our way through a room filled with pilgrim enemies.

After clearing out these enemies, consisting of a pilgrim guide and a bell bearer, you can make your way further left, where you come across a structure known as Halfway Home, which is a safe area.

After arriving at the Halfway Home, I suggest you enter the safe area and save your game at the bench offered by the kind tavern owner. After this, you will keep moving left, and you will find yourself in an arena.

The First Arena

In this arena, you will fight a new type of enemy known as the Dreg Catcher and the Thread Raker. They are a bit tricky initially, but can be easily dealt with if you have the dash ability and the thorn traps.

After finishing this arena, you can make your way to the left, and you will reach an open area; here, you will find the Grey Moor bellway at the bottom right. Drop down from the height you are on and make your way to the left.

You will enter a new area of broken-down wooden platforms. You then make your way upwards; as you do, you will find another new type of enemy known as the Silk Snippers, who utilize a large scissor. To fight them, you will have to dash over them and attack from behind.

After fighting two of them as you make your way up, you will find yourself at a revolving platform with blades; wait for the blades to move away from the platform and make your way to the very next room.

Here you will find yourself in a closed area, where you will again encounter the Silk Snippers; if you utilize the backstab method, you can easily overcome them.

You make your way downwards and towards the left, where you will find an opening with melted candles decorating it; you will have to make your way in. And enter the room you come upon.

Once you are in the drop-down, you will find another one of those wheels with blades; circumvent it and make your way to the top. And here you will find a second arena battle.

The Second Arena

In this arena battle, you will be met with the same enemies you fought before, and you will find it is just like the first one you fought to get here, just with amplified difficulty.

With the increase in difficulty comes the tighter space, so there is less room for you to dodge, making you play smarter with the amount of silk you receive throughout the fight.

The fight starts with a Silk Snipper who performs a downward and upward attack, which you can easily dodge using the dust cues given off.

Then you have to fight two Dreg Catchers, who will attack you in unison. If you get hit, do not worry; you can heal just by gliding above their attack range using the Drifter's Cloak.

After that, you have to fight a Thread Raker; you can use the Silk Spear ability to do damage from afar, and you can use the thorn traps when they go underground and try to close the distance between you.

Lastly, you are met with two Silk Snippers; you will have to initially dodge both their attacks, parrying and getting hits off where you can, and pogoing whenever possible from the back.

You will have to take one of them down first; otherwise, there is a large chance that you will get hit by the other. Once one of them is down, it is just as before, with the dash and backstab trick.

About The Reaper Crest

Finally, after the fight is over, make your way to the top and claim the crest for yourself. The crest itself is a useful addition to the arsenal of Hornet.

It helps overcome tough arena battles, as it helps by collecting additional silk. It is activated by binding your injuries, after which, for a short period, if you hit an enemy, it will release white orbs, which, if you collect, will give you extra silk.

This is extra helpful in the very next arena battle in Greymoor, which is all the way to the right.
