When you first arrive in Ancient Depths, there are a few specific spots you should look for to gather extra gear and see some interesting sights.

Hidden Loot Under the Entrance

Once you reach the area with the Eclipse trigger and the door to the Depths Vault, don't just walk past. Look under the central platform you are standing on.

You will find a circular vent that isn't moving. If you drop down through it, you’ll find a small hidden room. This spot always has two rectangular containers waiting for you to loot.

The Smoke Room

Keep an eye out for another side room connected to the main chamber. This area is hard to miss because a huge amount of smoke fills the middle of the room. Your suit will explain that this smoke is changing shape because of the Eclipse.

While you watch the patterns, make sure to grab the two rectangular containers located here in Saros.

The Locked Offshoot

As you explore the biome, you might come across a specific side room that you simply cannot enter. Don't worry if you can't find a way in during your first trip through the Ancient Depths. It is usually blocked off until you progress further in the story, so just keep it in mind for later.

The Far Platform

You will eventually see a large gap with a platform sitting far off on the other side. You can see a rectangular container and plenty of resources over there, but the jump is too wide to make normally.

There is a floating device hanging in the air between you and the platform, but you won't be able to use it yet. You'll have to come back once you unlock the right ability to cross the air.
