Once the Eclipse is active, you will start finding Corrupted Artifacts. These are powerful items that give you great buffs but also come with a negative side effect.

As you move through the area, you will face more enemies at once. Watch out for metal platforms that shoot out red flames if you stand on them for too long. You must stay fast and keep moving to avoid getting burned.

The Alpha Hostile

You will eventually enter a Solar Cage where your suit warns you about an Alpha Hostile. This is a very fast and dangerous enemy. It is quite common to die during this fight on your first try. The best way to handle it is to keep moving and fire your weapon while strafing.

If you do die here, you will return to The Passage and meet Primary. This is where you can spend your Lucenite and Halcyon to buy permanent upgrades for Arjun.

Finding the Vault Key

On your next run, you might find a Holocache. These allow Arjun to see and hear messages from Nitya. To move forward with the main goal, look for a large room where the floor has collapsed in Saros.

Drop all the way to the bottom and use your Melee to break the red shield over the hole. Carefully move past the yellow lasers to reach a stand holding the Vault Key.

Unlocking the Way Forward

Once you have the Vault Key, walk back up the slope and through the large gate that is now open. Look for a golden swirling portal on the ground. Stepping on this will teleport you right back to the sealed gate you found earlier.

Put the key into the slot on the right side to open the path. As you head down the slope, you will see red grass that sticks to you and slows you down. You will also see three tentacle creatures on the wall. Shoot them to open the way to the drop-off ahead in Saros.
