Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon Guide | How to Get The Smelter's Heart

To survive in the deadly Avalon environment of Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, you will need the best gear. 

To build a stronger character and get a better Unique Shield, you need the Smelter’s Heart. Here's how to complete the quest to get this valuable reward in Act Three.

Finding the Ulfr Village

To begin, find your way to the Forlorn Swords. Locate the Ulfr Village and enter. You have to go through the main courtyard to get to the Forge of the Ulfr Tribe.

Hr'afn is a non-playable character (NPC) in the forge who is wearing Heavy Armor. If you want to start his quest, talk to him and he'll ask you to get him some crafting supplies.

Hunting Brimshades for Hides

Hr'afn needs three Brimshade Hides to finish his job. To find them, search for fog in the Forlorn Swords. Look out for ground fog that is moving. 

This is a sign that a Brimshade is there. They are one of the many evil monsters you'll encounter in this Open World RPG. They are not too difficult to defeat. All you have to do is defeat them until you have three hides in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

Defending with the Smelter's Heart

Once you have the hides, return to the village and give them to Hr'afn. In return, he gives you the Smelter's Heart. This is an excellent piece of equipment for any Melee Build, as it has a fire effect. If you block attacks with the shield, it will heat up. 

This deals 5 fire damage every second to any enemies near you. This means that the shield will cool down and stop burning when you are not blocking. Equipping this is an excellent choice for dealing more damage while protecting yourself.
