The Last Caretaker Guide | How to Complete First Light Quest

This guide explains how you can complete the First Light quest in The Last Caretaker by assembling the required components and constructing the necessary module. 

Accessing Lumilite Solar Panel

To begin the quest, you must first unlock the Lumilite Solar Panel in your skills menu. Once it becomes available, you open your build interface and scroll to the Lumilite section found under Modules. 

From there, you select the option to add it. A frame appears, and you can position it wherever you prefer. At this point, it will show as paused, indicating that it is waiting for several components: a Solar Cell, Connector Parts, and an Alloy Frame.

Crafting Required Components

You then return to your build menu to create the required materials in The Last Caretaker.

You craft an Alloy Frame using two Iron and two Plastic. Once you queue it, it is added directly to the fabrication process.

Next, you produce a Solar Cell. This requires two Plastic and two Glass. When crafted, it is automatically added to the queue.

Finally, you assemble the Connector Parts using two Copper Parts, one Plastic Part, and one Fabric Part. These parts are added to the module’s construction queue once created in The Last Caretaker.

Completing Lumilite Solar Panel

After each component is fabricated, it is automatically delivered to the module frame you placed earlier. When all materials are collected, the Lumilite Solar Panel is completed. This action fulfills the objective for the First Light quest in The Last Caretaker.
