The Last Caretaker Guide | How to Complete Rags of Riches Quest

This guide shows you the steps you follow to complete the Rags To Riches quest in The Last Caretaker, focusing on locating the Recycler, powering it, and processing materials to meet the required amounts.

Reaching Recycler

To begin, you move toward the Recycler. Starting from the area where you restored power earlier, head through the door leading outside and down the steps. 

At the bottom, you look for another door nearby and enter it. Inside, activate the light with the wall-mounted button. The Recycler is positioned in this room and must be powered before you can use it.

Connecting Power To Recycler

You take a cable and attach it to one of the Battery's ports using the interaction prompt. Then, you bring the cable to the Recycler and connect it to its input. 

Once the cable is secured, flip the switch to open the Recycler and begin processing items in The Last Caretaker.

Recycling Materials Quest

The quest requires you to extract 10 Iron, 10 Plastic, and 10 Rubber. Most of what you need can be gathered directly from the items scattered around the room. 

You start picking up objects—such as metal rings—and carry them to the Recycler. When you drop an item into the machine, it breaks it down, and the resulting materials appear in the output section beside it in The Last Caretaker.

You continue collecting and recycling anything available. Tires provide both Plastic and Rubber. Other objects, such as chairs and computer parts, provide additional resources, including Glass, Silicone, Gold, and Polyurethane, though these extra materials are not required for the quest. You repeat the process until you reach the needed totals.

Once you have 10 of each required material through recycling, the Rags To Riches quest completes in The Last Caretaker.
