The new The Last of Us Part II trailer heavily hints that the leaked information is all true

Yesterday, Naughty Dog confirmed a new trailer would release today for The Last of Us Part II. Recently the long-awaited title went gold and got a new official release date. Unfortunately, it was not all good news for this title. A massive leak revealed critical information about the game's narrative that has had Naughty Dog and Sony taking aggressive measures but the damage was done. With fans now turning against the title in droves. Now the story trailer is out and it confirms a lot of the leaked information in subtle ways.
We see that Ellie wants to pursue this vendetta but Joel's brother Tommy cannot join her since leaving would put their settlement in danger due to lack of protection. We then see Ellie violently killing people and clearly targeting specific people. With the trailer ending with someone talking to Ellie telling her they could've killed her hinting that Ellie found the person she was looking for and is ready to kill her.
Sony has been on top of this and disabled comments on the official trailer but other channels still have their comments and likes and dislikes up. With the like and dislike ratio usually at 50/50 but the comments section is terrible. If you want to remain spoiler-free, avoid them.
The Last of Us: Part II launches on June 19th for PS4.
