Destiny 2's Forsaken Trailer Kills Off an Important Character

Today, a new trailer for Destiny 2's Forsaken expansion was released. Showcasing the death of the hunter Cayde-6.
The trailer puts the series in a more darker tone with Cayde-6 apparently killed by the Awoken Queen Uldren Sov. The reason Cayde-6 isn't revived is that his Ghost was destroyed, making it impossible for him to be revived.
Forken like The Taken King will be a complete change from the original formula of the game. Based on the response of the community Forsaken adds new challenges, weapons, raids, and a location called The Reef.
Forsaken launches September 4 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
