Absolver Brings Martial Arts To The PC And PS4

Developed by Sloclap and published by Devolver Digital, Absolver is an upcoming 3rd person action game with a strong focus on martial arts. Finding yourself with a mask on your face and feint memories of an esoteric ceremony, you'll take your character on the path to becoming an Absolver, an elite corps of warriors in service of the Guides, the rules of Adal. In order to do so, players will choose a combat style which comes with its own combat deck. Combat decks have four stances, all which have their own customizable string of attacks. Furthermore, powers and weapons can be brandished in order to alter one's combat deck and throw opponents off.

Players will seamlessly encounter other human oppontents as they trek through the ruins of Adal which does give way to a lot of tension and questions regarding trust. The available videos showcase combat that looks quite fluid and some pretty neat animations. Absolver comes out on the 29th of August on PS4 and PC.
